dc.description.abstractThe main purpose of this project was to design and build a prototype of an interface board between an MRC temperature probe (thermistor array) and a personal laptop computer. This interface board replaces and significantly improve the capabilities of an existing MRC RD100 readout instrument. The new interface board provides the user to test a new installation as well as read instantaneous thermistor array. The report also documents the outputs of the the MRC temperature probe for future and the operational characteristics of both the MRC RD100 and the new interface board.en_US
