    Description
Taken from Executive Summary on page vii: This study reports on the economic feasibility of using the geothermally heated water at Pilgrim Hot Springs for: Space heating and generating electricity for the greenhouse vegetable production. Space heating for a reindeer field research station. Controlled refrigeration for reindeer carcasses. District space heating of homes. Water heating for a salmon hatchery. The purpose of these economic feasibility studies was to help the Alaska Division of Energy and Power Development-and others-to select a demonstration project for testing how the geothermal resource might be most practically and profitably used.
