Abstract
The University of Alaska, Juneau is a regional, community based liberal arts college with a special community college component for technical and vocational programs. It also includes facilities in fisheries and several graduate programs. Located in the state capital, UAJ offers unique opportunities for the study of intergovernmental programs and policies; and its instruction, research and public service activities have impact throughout the state.
