dc.description.abstract Anchorage Community Indicators is a public education project of the Justice Center aimed at providing information about various aspects of the Anchorage municipality through maps and tables. This issue provides an overview of the project and introduces Series 1, "Anchorage Community Survey," which presents results from a telephone survey conducted by the Justice Center in the spring of 2003. Series 1 focuses on respondents' attitudes on five issues — schools, public transportation, snow removal, police performance, and emergency medical services — and on residential stability. en_US
