Geology of a subarctic, tin-bearing batholith - Circle Hot Springs, AlaskaA small batholith (56mi2) outcrops approximately 94 miles northeast of Fairbanks. It occurs in a historically rich area for placer gold. Additionally, placer tin has been recorded in the creeks that flow through or adjacent to the batholith.
